Privacy
What happens to the information you send me. Plain language, because you should be able to find that out without reading four pages of boilerplate.

The short version. If you fill in a form, your details come to my email so I can answer you. I don't sell them, I don't rent them, and I don't add you to a mailing list. This website sets no cookies and doesn't track you.
Who I am
This site belongs to Avery Gill, trading as Lowcountry Web Co., based on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Reach me at hello@lowcountryweb.co or (843) 816-2004 — both come straight to me, not to a queue. If you need a postal address for a formal request, ask and I'll give you one.
What I collect
Only what you type into a form, and only if you choose to send it. The contact form takes your name, business name, email, phone (optional), which package you're asking about, and your message. The free-review form takes your website address, your email and what kind of business you run.
I don't ask for payment details anywhere on this website, and you shouldn't send card numbers through a form. When it's time to pay, I send an invoice with a payment link.
What I use it for
Answering you, and doing the work if you hire me. That's the whole list. I won't email or text you about anything else unless you've asked me to.
If you ask for a free site review, I'll look at the website address you give me and record a short video about it. I'm looking at a page that's already public — I don't attempt to access anything that isn't.
Who else can see it
- The form service. Forms are handled by Netlify Forms, which passes your message to my inbox. Their privacy policy is at netlify.com/privacy.
- The web host. This site is hosted by Netlify. Like every web server, theirs keeps standard access logs, which include visitors' IP addresses.
- My alerting tool. When you send a form, it also goes to an automation service I run, which notifies me on my phone so I can get back to you quickly instead of waiting until I next check email. It receives what you typed into the form and nothing more. It isn't used for marketing, profiling or advertising, and nobody else has access to it.
- Google Fonts. The typefaces load from Google's servers, so your browser contacts Google when the page loads and Google can see your IP address. I get nothing from this and it isn't used to track you.
Beyond that I don't share anything with anyone. I won't sell your details and I won't pass them to another business.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies. No analytics, no advertising pixel, no session tracking, nothing stored in your browser. If that ever changes — and if I start running ads it probably will — this page gets updated the same day and I'll say what was added.
How long I keep it
Enquiries stay in my email for 24 months so I have a record of what we discussed. If you become a client, project records are kept while I'm working with you and for a reasonable period afterwards for tax and accounting. Ask me to delete an enquiry and I'll delete it.
If you're a client
Working on your website or your Google Business Profile sometimes means I hold more than an enquiry — logins, and occasionally a list of your own past customers for review outreach. That's covered by your written agreement, not by this page. In short: I use it only for your engagement, never for anyone else, never sell or share it, and delete every copy within thirty days of us finishing. Ask and I'll confirm that in writing.
Your choices
- Ask me what I hold about you, and I'll tell you.
- Ask me to correct it or delete it, and I will.
- If I ever email you something you didn't ask for, reply "no thanks" and you're off my list for good — no form, no login, no questions.
Children
This is a website for business owners. It isn't directed at children and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
