The problem

Most Lowcountry business sites lose the customer before the phone rings.

It's rarely the design. It's these three things.

It's slow on a phone

Someone's standing in a parking lot on Pope Avenue with two bars of signal. Six seconds is forever. They hit back and call the next result.

It doesn't come up

A homeowner in Sun City types "roof repair Bluffton" from their driveway, and your competitor is there and you aren't.

There's no next move

No number you can tap, no way to book, no form above the fold β€” just a nice-looking page with nowhere to go.

All three are fixable in two weeks. That's the whole business.
Who this is for

Built for four kinds of Lowcountry business.

Bluffton Β· Sun City Β· Okatie Β· Hardeeville

Home services & contractors

Roofing, HVAC, pools, pressure washing, landscaping, remodels. You're paying Angi eighty dollars a lead for customers you could be finding yourself.

Web design in Bluffton β†’

Hilton Head Β· Beaufort Β· Port Royal Β· Daufuskie

Charter captains & outdoor guides

Inshore, offshore, dolphin tours, kayak trips. Right now your booking system is a phone number and a hope, and half your season comes through a listing site that takes a cut.

Web design on Hilton Head β†’

Bluffton Β· Hilton Head

Dental, medical & med spa

New-patient search is the whole game, and you're losing it to a corporate group with a bigger marketing budget and a worse practice.

Across the Lowcountry

Studios, salons & trade storefronts

Fitness, pilates, hair, tattoo, detailing. A clean site with a working booking link is the difference between a full week and a half-full one.

Not on the list? Call anyway β€” but I'll tell you straight if I'm the wrong person for it.

What I do

A site that works β€” and someone who keeps it working.

Fast on purpose

Lightweight HTML and CSS, and nothing else. No WordPress, no Wix, no page builder, no forty plugins waiting to break. It's built to load in about a second on a phone, and with no database, no logins and no plugins, there's far less on it that can be attacked.

Found when it counts

Google Business Profile set up properly, pages for the towns you actually serve, and the structured data that puts your hours, phone number and reviews into the search result itself. If your listing is already a mess β€” wrong category, reviews missing, profile suspended β€” that's a service on its own.

Google Profile services β†’

Maintained, not abandoned

Every build comes with a care plan. Hosting, backups, security and content changes handled every month, so your site is as fast in year three as it was on launch day.

Care plans from $149/month β†’

How it works

Four steps. Fourteen days. A date in the contract.

The call

Thirty minutes on the phone. I ask what you sell, who buys it, and what a good week looks like. Before we hang up you have a fixed price and a launch date β€” no discovery invoice, no proposal deck.

Build

Days 1–7. I write the copy, organise the photos and build the site. You get a preview link on day seven.

Revise

Days 8–11. You mark up the preview, I make the changes. One round on Foundation, three on Growth.

Launch & handover

Days 12–14. Live on your domain, in your name. Google Business Profile set up, Search Console submitted, and I put in writing exactly who holds the domain and hosting logins.

If I miss your launch date for a reason that's mine, your first three months of care are on me. The date depends on getting your copy and photos when we agree β€” that's the one thing I can't do for you. The exact terms are written into your agreement before you pay anything.
Portfolio

Real work for real locals.

A launched client site, and the other half of what I do β€” fixing the Google listing that's already misrepresenting a business.

Pricing

Simple, honest pricing.

Fixed scope, fixed price, no hourly billing. Every package includes a care plan for the first twelve months β€” that's not an upsell, it's how the site stays fast, secure and findable after launch day.

Why these prices? A site that's built properly and looked after every month pays for itself in a couple of jobs. The cheap version costs less once and costs more every year after that β€” in speed, in security, and in the customers who bounced before it loaded. Full pricing and add-ons β†’
About

You'll be working with me. That's the whole point.

I'm Avery Gill. I build every site myself, from Hilton Head Island.

I started Lowcountry Web Co. after watching local owners pay five figures for a template with their logo dropped on it, then get handed to an account manager who'd never set foot in their business. That's not a website. That's a subscription to somebody else's overhead.

What I do instead: build the site lean so it's genuinely fast, wire up the Google side properly so people can find it, and then stay on it every single month. No WordPress. No page builders. No handoffs to anyone.

I take a small number of clients at a time, because that's the only way the second part β€” the looking after β€” is worth anything. If I'm full, I'll tell you and give you a date.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Foundation sites launch in 14 days. Growth builds run about 21 days. Authority builds take 4 to 6 weeks depending on scope. Your launch date goes in the contract β€” the one thing that moves it is waiting on copy and photos from you, so I'll tell you exactly what I need and when.
No β€” I work by phone and email, and I'm upfront about that. It keeps my overhead down and your price with it, and it means I'm building your site instead of driving to Beaufort. You'll get me on the phone the same day, most days. Call or text (843) 816-2004.
Yes. The domain is registered in your name and stays that way, and you get the source files. Hosting usually sits in my account while you're on a care plan β€” that's what keeps it simple β€” and I'll move the site to an account you own whenever you ask, at no charge. At launch I put in writing exactly who holds which login, because that's the thing that bites people two years later. Nothing is ever held back.
Then the build price goes up by $600, I hand you the files, and I wish you well. That's not a penalty β€” it's the handover, documentation and first-year support I'd otherwise absorb. I don't launch sites I can't stand behind, and a site nobody maintains gets slower, less secure and less findable every month that passes.
No, and I'll save you the sales pitch about why. I build fast, lightweight static sites and that's all I build. If you genuinely need one of those platforms, tell me and I'll refer you to someone who does it properly rather than doing it badly myself.
Not necessarily. Writing your copy is included in every package, and I'll source licensed stock photography if you need it. For best results I'd rather have real photos of your team, your trucks and your work β€” I can refer you to a local Hilton Head photographer, and coordinating that shoot is a $350 add-on if you'd like me to handle it.
Hosting is part of your care plan β€” there's no separate hosting bill to think about. The domain stays registered in your name (about $15/year, paid direct to the registrar so you always control it). If you already own a domain, I'll deploy to it.
Every package includes revision rounds. If you see the first full design and decide the direction is wrong, you have five business days to say so. I'll refund your deposit minus $400 for the design work already done, and you owe nothing further. That's written into your agreement, not just this page.
Yes. Standard terms are 50% to start and 50% on launch. For Authority builds it's 40% to start, 30% at the preview and 30% on launch.

Send me your website. I'll tell you what's wrong with it.

Free, no call required. A three-minute video within 24 hours: what's slow, what breaks on a phone, where you're invisible on Google, and the three things I'd fix first.
